This free program, offered by the American Cancer Society and Blue Ridge HealthCare, helps women undergoing cancer treatment learn to cope with appearance related side effects of treatment. This group meets the third Monday of each month at the Valdese Cancer Center. To register for a session, call at 438-4643.

Phifer Wellness Center
This group is open to all cancer patients and cancer survivors. The 11:30 a.m. class is for those familiar with yoga. The 12:45 p.m. class is a more gentle class for beginners or for those right out of or in treatment. Participants need to wear something comfortable and bring a towel to sit on.
