Fernando A. de la Serna, MD, FACC, FSCAI, joined the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute at Blue Ridge HealthCare in July 2009. Dr. de la Serna, until recently, served on the teaching faculty in Cardiology at Duke University. He has been affiliated with Duke University Medical Center since 2004, first as Cardiology Fellow and then as Attending Interventional Cardiologist at Duke Cardiology and South Eastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Speaks Spanish fluently.
