| Blue Ridge HealthCare welcomes Gloria M. Vodan, Certified Nurse Midwife to the Grace Hospital Allied Health Staff. Ms. Vodan, CNM has joined Alfred W. Hamer, MD and Walter H. Hall, MD at Medical Heights OB/GYN located at 352-B East Parker Road in Morganton.
Ms. Vodan, CNM obtained her nursing diploma at St. Francis School of Nursing in Hartford, Connecticut and completed her bachelors degree from St. Leo University in St. Leo, Florida. She holds a masters in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and obtained her midwifery degree from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky.
Ms. Vodan, CNM has more than eight years experience in midwifery and was previously with Caldwell OB/GYN and Laurelwood Women’s Health in Lenoir.
“I enjoy caring for women of all ages, especially adolescents,” said Ms. Vodan, CNM. “I am looking forward to joining Dr. Hamer and Dr. Hall in caring for the women in and around Burke County.”
Ms. Vodan, CNM is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives and is an instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
