Major Outpatient Centers will be developed at both Grace and Valdese Hospitals under the plan. Healthcare continues to shift more and more toward outpatient care. Outpatients will account for 60-80% of persons served by the two hospitals within five-to-seven years or sooner. These high profile, patient-friendly centers will anchor both hospital campuses and provide direct support to the five other Hallmark Services.
