At Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge, we are proud of our commitment to quality. We strive to meet or exceed the national hospital quality measures.

A lot of quality data can be found on the internet, but the numbers may be confusing or misleading. We encourage you to view quality data on many different websites, and keep in mind that each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

We welcome your questions, concerns and comments as we take steps toward making Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge a great place to receive care, a great place for physicians to practice medicine and a great place to work. We have provided links to display the national quality measures in a simple, easy to view format. These show a specific set of measures of patient care nationally approved by Medicare and The Joint Commission, which is an organization that certifies a healthcare facility’s quality and patient safety programs. These measures have been proven to positively improve outcomes for patients who receive them.

If you have a concern about the care you receive while a patient at Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge that has not been resolved by the staff providing service to you, please call the Customer Relations Department at 828-580-5599. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You also may call the complaint hotline at 828-580-5411. Please know that a complaint will not have an harmful effect on a patient’s current care or future access to care at Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge.
