Volunteers at Grace and Valdese General Hospital provide wide variety of services for the hospital patients and staff.

The volunteers staff the hospital gift shops, from which the proceeds are applied toward purchase of services, programs and equipment that enhance patient care.

Volunteers also staff the information desk and receptionist/clerical positions.

They serve as liaisons between the medical staff and families whose loved ones undergo surgery.
