Women's and Children's Center
The Women's and Children's Center, located primarily at Grace Hospital, provides OB/GYN, Pediatric and Neonatal services that rival the care received in larger metropolitan regions.
What makes our Women and Children's Center Special?
- Care of the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, normal newborn
- The center features a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), providing level III neonatal care without leaving the area
- Ability to treat pediatric patients 0-18 years and medical surgical clients that are a compatible mixture with pediatrics
- Most advanced equipment and evidence based practice standards
- Excellent physician and nursing skill base
- Nurses who are PCEP (Perinatal Continuing Education Program) certified - meaning national standards practiced here
- All RNs on obstetrics are NRP (Neonatal Resusucitation Provider) certified and Pediatric nurses are PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified. These are national standards set by the American Heart Assocication
- Breast feeding and childbirth classes
