Blue Ridge HealthCare’s Comprehensive Wound Healing Center at Valdese Hospital is an outpatient facility committed to the successful treatment and prevention of chronic, non-healing wounds. Our professional team of physicians and nurses provide comprehensive care utilizing the most current treatment options available.

Our center is equipped to treat a wide variety of wounds including:

• Wounds that have not healed after six weeks duration
  
• Wounds that recur after healing
  
• Diabetic foot and ankle wounds
  
• Venous Stasis ulcers
  
• Ischemic ulcers
  
• Pressure ulcers
  
• Bites, infections, arthritis, etc.

Our Wound Healing Center will collect a detailed history of your wound and evaluate your current health status. They will conduct a comprehensive wound evaluation and provide education regarding the cause of your wound, how to care for it, and how to recognize early warning signs of complications. Follow-up visits will be scheduled until the wound is completely healed.

Self-referrals are accepted, and treatment is covered by most insurance plans.
